Tom Booth is an author, illustrator, and art director. Born on the twelfth day of the twelfth month, Tom made his earliest marks — sometimes on his parents’ antique kitchen table — growing up just outside of Philadelphia.

  • Some of you may recall that I was working on a medieval-themed story that I hoped to see on shelves one day. Well, I’m pleased to share that the story is finished, and it is currently out in that big bad world trying to find a home. Im very proud of the story, and I hope to share it with you all someday and somehow down the road. Until then, enjoy this favorite moment between the story’s main characters, and wish the book (and my agent) luck if you have a prayer to spare. 😉👍 #childrensbooks #picturebooks #childrensillustration
  • It’s time for #artvsartist or is it #artvsartist2019 ? 2018 was character-building to say the least. I’m not sure what the future holds, but I’m grateful for the people who believe in and support me and my work, and I’m eager to both explore and share the styles and stories that inspire me to do what I do. 🙂👍 thanks to @jdzphotography for my author photo.   • **Update: I’m developing a story around this woodworker, for those asking** I found a window to explore a more solemn subject. It felt good to get it out of my head, even if it didn’t go exactly as planned. There’s no story beyond the image, unless of course you imagine one for yourself. 🙂 #procreate #ipadpro
  • I’ve been sketching almost non-stop for some exciting projects that must remain secret for now [insert heavy sigh here], but I took a little time for me tonight to add some color to this old sketch, test a new technique, and recharge my creative batteries.
